CIBT should only be used to apply for or renew a passport if you need RUSH services. You will be charged an expediting fee as well as a higher governmental fee because it will be processed as a RUSH order.
If you do not need expediting you can request your passport through the normal process for the standard governmental fee. Please check the U.S. State Department for passport acceptance facilities near you.
The discount offered through CIBT applies ONLY to processing service fees. All government fees for passports and visas will be billed at the posted rates with rush charges where applicable.
Payment Method: Payment may only be made via payment card (IU P-Card or Meeting Card / Personal Payment Card). IU Travel Policies Are Applicable.

No. These are only the processing fees charged by CIBT You will still pay any governmental fees. For example, a routine Passport Renewal with the US State Department is $130. You will pay $130 plus $60 for CIBT to handle the transaction. If you have 6-8 weeks, it is financially advantageous to do it on your own.

The US Government considers all requests it receives from CIBT as expedited and they charge the higher fee. If you have 6-8 weeks to wait, you should go to the Post Office for normal processing.
Yes. The list is not all-inclusive of the services provided by CIBT. The University does not receive the discount on other services. Check your total price before you submit your order.

Processing timeframes and associated pricing are determined by the number of days allowed for processing after CIBT's receipt of completed application materials and are calculated on a per item basis. Please note that rush and emergency processing may not be available for all services offered by CIBT. Processing times are ultimately determined by the issuing authority.
Orders cancelled after CIBT has received and/or reviewed the application will be assessed the standard processing fees, including orders not yet submitted to government offices.
